Written for orchestra and choir augmented by ethnical colours provided by Shankar on double violin and vocal improvisations, this is a strong and original work that creates a wonderfully dark and seductive atmosphere. If you are familiar with Richard Gibbs' previous works, you know that he is a versatile composer who can do basically anything - the pompous orchestral marches of First Kid, the sleazy tongue-in-cheek saxophone riffs of Fatal Instinct and the electronic experiments in Wedlock are the three radically different examples.
