There is more than one band with the name Electra: a German rock band, an Israeli rock band , a band from Spain, and a Russian band. 1. One of the oldest still active German rock-bands is electra hailing from Dresden. Founded in 1969 they are known for their adaptations of classical music as well as progressive rock. One of their best known tracks is Nie zuvor, a rather soft ballad. Some members of the band that had left returned later. The only member who was with electra since their founding is Bernd Aust.
