There are three musicians by this name: 1) A British bass guitarist, part of the original line-up of the heavily successful 80s heroes of Duran Duran. A new Duran Duran album is due in 2010. Taylor has released several solo albums and has also created soundtracks and appeared as guest star on numerous projects. He is also an actor, having appeared in several indie movies ("Sugar Town"), and television shows ("Samantha Who?")
