Burhan G is a Danish R&B singer who has released two albums to critical acclaim and hit status. Born in Brøndby Strand, Denmark, on June 20th, 1983, he is of Turkish background and grew up singing in a Copenhagen choir. His pop career took off after he sang background vocals for Danish hip hop act Outlandish and other Danish artists. In 2003 he released his debut single, Burhan G, and the following year his debut album, Playground. He won the Best New Act award at the Danish Music Awards.
