Cheval de Frise were a French math-rock duo consisting of hollow-body guitarist Thomas Bonvalet and drummer Vincent Beysselance. Their unnerving, angular compositions are often compared to the works of contemporaries Gastr Del Sol, Don Caballero, and occasionally even Orthrelm - a testament to the band's innovative spirit. They split right after their US tour of La Lame du Mat Discography:
