Bruderschaft is a futurepop supergroup consisting of DJ Rexx Arkana, Ronan Harris of VNV Nation, Sebastian Komor of Icon of Coil, Stephan Groth of Apoptygma Berzerk and Joakim Montelius of Covenant. The project came into being when Rexx Arkana's father was diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer. After his father's passing, he shared a hand-written poem to his father with Ronan and Joakim. The duo wished to turn the verses into a formal song with all proceeds going directly to cancer research in honor of Arkana's father.
