Jules Verdone is originally from Rochester, NY. She attended Syracuse University where she studied journalism. After graduating and working as a waitress at night while trying to build a journalist's resume as a "stringer" and copy editor for a number of newspapers throughout Central Upstate New York. She moved to Baltimore, MD where she worked as counselor in an AIDS prevention and treatment organization. Living in Baltimore was difficult and rewarding (listen to the track "Baltimore or Less").
