New York City and Boston-based band. This is very fresh and refreshing stuff. It's "Alt rock opera", for lack of a better, more accurate term. Lyric-driven, great vocals, melodies, and very artful in its many details -- these are musians' musicians, led by Jim Bauer, who writes the music and lyrics (vocals & guitar as well), joined by some amazing talent: Meghan McGeary on vocals, David Rozenblatt on drums and marimba, Pablo Rieppi on percussion and vibes, Vessko Gellev on violin, and last but in no way least (he's amazing) Mat Fieldes on bass.
