Renato e seus Blue Caps, name inspired by "Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps", was a brazilian rock'n roll band that became succesful during the Jovem Guarda period. The band was inspired by names such as Elvis, Bill Halley and Little Richard, and many of their top hits were actually versions of other artists songs, specially from The Beatles. The most famous one is probably "Menina Linda", based on the Beatles' "I Should Have Know Better".
