T-Bone Walker
Aaron Thibeaux Walker or T-Bone Walker or Oak Cliff T-Bone (May , 1910 — March, 1975) was an American blues guitarist, singer, pianist and songwriter who was one of the most important pioneers of the electric guitar.
His electric guitar solos were among the first heard on modern blues recordings and helped set a standard that is still followed. Walker was born in Linden, Texas of African and Cherokee descent. His parents, Rance Walker and Movelia Jimerson were both musicians.
Walker married Vida Lee in 1935 and had three children with her. He died March, 1975.
