British Whale is Justin Hawkins from The Darkness' solo project. They've released two singles, the Multi-format This Town Ain't Big Enough For Both Of Us (note lack of The in the Title) A cover of Sparks 1974 #2 Hit. Backed up with B-Side America, regarded by many as the better track, it landed in the UK singles chart at #6. Second single, released just before the 2006 World Cup, was the download-only England. Which featured the German national anthem in the chorus, and controversial lyrics (We fought them on the beaches/Now we'll play them on the field).
