Beirut Slump
A short-lived New York City project (late 1978 - June 1979) which co-existed with Teenage Jesus & The Jerks; mostly Lydia Lunch. With film maker Vivienne Dick, Bobby Swope(a.k.a. 'Berkowitz'), his sister Liz Swope and Jim Sclavunos. They rehearsed for 6 months, but end up doing only 3 live shows. Their only release was "Try Me/Staircase" 7", which came out on Lust/Unlust Music in 1979, although few additional tracks appeared on a compilation of early Lydia Lunch associated projects called...
