Dogghead are Joe Ray, Brian Binmore and Dave Wesson. The live line-up seems reasonably settled at Ray: drums, Binmore: bass and Wesson: guitar but recording roles switch between them in unpredictable ways. The band was founded in 1999 at the instigation of Ray who challenged a group of people to form a group to play at a Millennium party in Hemel Hempstead, UK. Of those that accepted, soon only Wesson remained. Meanwhile, Binmore operated as an acoustic singer-songwriter, more heard about than actually heard.
