Sanctus was a death/black metal band from Southern California that existed (approximately) between the years of 1996 and 2004. They released a full-length album entitled "Aeon Sky" through Metal Blade Records in 2000. In 2004, Sanctus released a self-financed EP entitled "Fateshifter". It was soon after that release that the band broke up. (myspace.com/sanctusmusic) A memorial site has been set up with free mp3 downloads of the band's rare releases at sanctusmusic.com. Two recordings are available for download--their original Pantheon demo and their swansong EP, "Fateshifter".
