Colt (who changed their name from Living With Eating Disorders in 2005) are a British band, based in London, who combine electronics with more standard components of rock music to create songs that often feature calm, ethereal sections (which lead to frequent comparisons with bands like Portishead), juxtaposed with almost violent outbursts of desperation and chaos. UK band COLT began as writing duo Living With Eating Disorders; Andrea and Jared met in a west London recording studio and on the strength of demos attracted the interest of legendary producer John Fryer.
