Aware began their musical collaboration just prior to 2000. They stumbled, almost accidentally on Ibiza and were wrapped in the spirit of adventure that was just on the wane about that time. Events there seemed to envelop them like a hurricane and in 2000 they went from playing a then, little known bar, called Villa Mercedes, to later that year opening the live acts of Cafe Del Mar's 20th Anniversary and featuring on the first of many compilations.
