The True Bypass was invented in 2001 in Sweden when the singer & songwriter Thomas Isberg needed a breather from the pop/rock band Rubbertribe. Having written, produced, performed, recorded and mixed the album “Wound On My Neck For You” in 2000, Thomas learned that leading a four piece rock band tied to the record label Reactive Records wasn’t the kind of fun he was looking for. He wanted out, isolated himself in the rehearsal studio, and came out with “The True Bypass” – the debut album for a music project with the same name.
