Alcazar are a Swedish pop group consisting of Andreas Lundstedt, Therese Merkel ("Tess") and
Lina Hedlund. Former members Annika Kjærgaard and Magnus Carlsson left in 2005. Alcazar have become one of Sweden's most popular and successful groups since their debut single was released back in 1999. They have scored 13 top 40 hits in Sweden including 2 number ones and 8 top 10 hits. Alcazar are also well known for their participation in the Swedish Eurovision pre-selection contest 'Melodifestivalen' - having competed a total of 3 times.
