Kenyon Hopkins, Born 1/15/1912
in Coffeyville, KA. Served 3 years in USCG during World War II. From '51-'61, he was the chief composer and arranger at Radio City Music Hall. Wrote Instrumental mood music, and also wrote mood music for so many movies: some you might remember, Downhill Racer, The Hustler, 12 Angry Men, Wild in the Country (yes, an Elvis movie). Notably later acheivements as music director for TV shows such as The Odd Couple (not involved with writing movie soundtrack) Jacques Cousteau, Love American Style, and The Brady Bunch.
