Otto Dix is a Russian gothic band originating from Khabarovsk (far east of Russia). Utilizing dark operatic vocals and electronic melodies, their music contains elements of darkwave, EBM, classical music, and even early industrial. Noted for their androgynous vocalist and extremely dramatic, elaborate live performances, they have quickly become one of the most controversial artists in Russia and across the world. The band formed in November 2004, and consists of three members: Michael Draw (vocals, lyrics), Marie Slip (composition and arrangement), and Petr Voronov (violin).
