Born in 1978 in Frankfurt Mark Medlock grew up in Offenbach as son of US Larry Melock and his German wife Monika. Since he was six, he was singing in Gospel choirs - supported by his father. When his mother got cancer he left school to support her at home until she died in 2000, two years before his father died due to heart attack. He was married for three years with a man, jobbing arround doing anything he could.
