Bar Kokhba Sextet, not to be mistaken with the album of the same name from John Zorn which regroups a variety of small formations under the name of Masada Chamber Ensembles.
The Bar Kokhba Sextet is composed of some of the very finest musicians performing with John Zorn, most often under his direction. The string core counts Mark Feldman on violin, Erik Friedlander on cello, Greg Cohen on double bass and Marc Ribot on guitars.
