Philip Bölter is a German songwriter and guitar-player. Born 1988 in Lauchhammer, he grew up in Rasdorf (Hessia). At the age of ten he began to play the guitar and harp. “I pack in my bag: an old guitar, a cigar box full of blues harps and my songs. Off to the next stage. Here I can do what I like the best and forget about the stress out there.” Philip bridges the gap between the originators of Folk-Rock, like Neil Young or Bob Dylan, and artists of the todays indie-folk scene like Mumford & Sons or Johnny Flynn.
