Milkbar started in 2009 after meeting trough obscure messageboards. After a few weeks it recorded and released an EP with six songs on it.
The Self-named EP made for some good reviews by Dutch magazines and went on to earn itself some airplay on Dutch radio. In the first half 2010 the band played a lot of shows, but really wanted to record new material. So the band decided on a small 'sabatical' to get back into the studio and come up with some good songs.
