Chiitra Neogy, known today as Manoshi Chitra Neogy, is an Indian filmmaker, actress, poet and performer. She graduated from Calcutta University and the Royal Academy Of Arts in England. She has written and directed numerous award winning documentaries, including two independent films, Woman-Self and A Journey Within A Journey. Both films have won awards and citations both in the U.S and internationally. She released a single called "The Perfumed Garden" in the late 60s.
