A literally indie collaboration between the American artist and producer Brian Joseph Burton (Danger Mouse) and the multi-instrumentalist artist Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse). Their collaboration was enriched with David Lynch's vision and turned out as the Dark Night of the Soul featuring a wide rage of singers including David Lynch, James Mercer of The Shins, The Flaming Lips, Gruff Rhys of Super Furry Animals, Jason Lytle of Grandaddy, Julian Casablancas of The Strokes, Frank Black of The Pixies, Iggy Pop, Nina Persson of The Cardigans, Suzanne Vega and Vic Chesnutt.
