Children of Nova is an American experimental rock band from San Diego, California, formed in the Summer of 2007. The band incorporates aspects of alternative rock, progressive rock, post- hardcore, punk rock, heavy metal and jazz. Their album, The Complexity of Light, was released March 26, 2009. Marked by intricate arrangements the disc displays the bands wide chemistry in every track. It reflects both the diverse backgrounds and common bonds of this intricate musicianship. Currently they are writing for their full length debut which is expected in 2011.
