Son of Italian father and Chilean mother, David Crovetto aka Playb began playing guitar at the age of 10 (he defines himself as an self-taught musician when it comes to playing music instruments), then about 3 years later, he performed in various local bands where he learnt bass guitar, keyboards and drums.
After finishing high school he moved away from playing in bands to get into University to study engineering in sound.
