Heretoir is a two-man black metal band consisting of Eklatanz (Vocals, drums, guitar) and Nathanael (Bass) with shoegaze influences. It was founded by Eklatanz in 2006. The band deals with the dreariness of everyday life and its devastating realism: isolation, depression, nostalgia and melancholy - although hope is a central theme. Influences from similar bands such as Amesoeurs or Lantlôs can be found in the (sporadic) denunciation of the urbanity/modernity of "the city". On 19th September 2008 a first demo called "Existenz" was released. It is no longer in stock.
