Symere Woods (born July 31, 1994), better known by his stage name Lil Uzi Vert, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter from Francisville, North Philadelphia, Pennsylvannia.

In 2015, Uzi signed a record deal with DJ Drama & Don Cannon's Generation Now/Atlantic imprint.[1] Uzi then released his debut studio album Luv Is Rage was released on December 18, 2015, featuring productions from Don Cannon, FKi, Sonny Digital, TM88, and more, with Wiz Khalifa and Young Thug the only guest features on the album.
