Janitor Joe was a three-person band originating from Minneapolis in the early 1990's. It featured Joachim Breuer (formerly in Bastards) on guitar, Kristen Pfaff on bass, and Matt Entsminger on the drums, with both Breuer and Pfaff sharing vocals. The band was beginning to get famous when Pfaff was offered a position in another band and left. A replacement bassist was found. Pfaff returned to Janitor Joe briefly before her death in 1994.
