Hansson & Karlsson was a swedish duo consisting of Bo Hansson (organ) and Janne "Loffe" Carlsson (drums).
The duo was active during the end of the 1960s and played instrumental jazz rock and psychadelic music. The music was much built around improvisations and because of that their live shows varied much from show to show. The group could be said to be an early inspiration to the swedish proggrock. They met Jimi Hendrix and played with him a couple of times. Hendrix was interested of the duos music and he himself did a recording of Hansson & Karlssons composition "Tax Free".
