Mechanical Me were Lumenessence's debut signings in 2000. Now on an extended sabbatical their infectious blend of eccentric sampling, fairground atmospherics, pop hooks and Louise Davis' highly individual vocals charmed and won over many early Lumenessence supporters. They released two eps for Lumenessence, the deliciously infectious and now deleted ˜I like" and the equally well received "I Like Mixes" ep which featured fantastic makeovers from Bonobo, Blue States and Tiresias as well as original tracks by the band.
