Picnic at the Whitehouse was an English synthpop band, founded in 1985. It's members were Edwin Martin Hind (previously in virgin dance) and Illfo (real name Eckart Debusmann). The band had one major international hit, "We Need Protection", which was also included on their sole album, "The Doors Are Open", released in 1987.
