Time of Orchids was founded in New York, New York, United States in 1999 and went on to record five albums - 2001's 'Melonwhisper' (featuring Marilyn Crispell), 2003's 'Much Too Much Fun' (featuring Kate Pierson of The B-52's), 2004's 'Early As Seen in Pace' (on Epicene Records), 2005's 'Sarcast While' (featuring Julee Cruise and released on John Zorn's Tzadik label) and 2007's 'Namesake Caution' (on Cuneiform Records).
