Anna Mhoireach also known as Anna Murray grew up in Back of the Isle Lewis and learned to sing Gaelic. At the age of ten, she learned the Highland bagpipes. She recorded her debut album, Out of the Blue, at age 20 and since has recorded two more albums and been on compilation albums.
