(Buffalo, New York, March 2, 1943 - Great Barrington, Massachusetts, March 3, 1999) Jackson Carey Frank was born in the 1940's, and grew up in Buffalo (New York). Whilst at school he suffered in a terrible accident where a furnace exploded, and he was left physically scarred for the rest of his life. However, many of his classmates had died in the accident so he was quite fortunate. During his time in hospital, his school teacher would come in with a guitar and teach him bits and pieces.
