VELVET EDEN is an electronic / darkwave / visual kei band from Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1998 and originally consisting of only vocalist Dada (former E-Typ & Pride of Mind vocalist) and keyboardist/programmer Kalm, they released two albums and a video before Kalm decided to leave in 2000. Their music changed drastically from almost pure darkwave to rock with the inclusion of an ever changing roster of new members. (In 2000: Hora, Masahiro, Abe, R.Y.O; In 2001-2002: Bera, Mimi, Lem).
