Robert Henke is better known as the producer behind Monolake, one of the leading dub-techno pioneers of the past decade. Since the beginning of his career Henke is deeply involved in the development of Ableton Live. Though it's a little-known fact that Henke began his recording career as a serious academic composer, with such experimental releases as 1995s Piercing Music and 1997s Floating.Point, in recent years he has returned increasingly to his given name as a venue for these more classical and academic interpretations of electronic music.
