Flatcat is a punkrock band, that was founded in 1993 by brothers Dirk (guitar) and Wim (drums). In 1995 Minx and Alex joined the band and after some member changes this became the steady line-up. You can expect a good dose of westcoast punkrock, mixed with emo influences. The band appeared on a compilation cd for the first time in 1996, it was called "Best of Belgium, best Belgian punkbands". After lots of shows with bands like Janez Detd., Heideroosjes, Gwyllions, Undeclinable, I against I,… they were represented a few more times on different compilations.
