Holger Hiller (born 26/12/1956, Hamburg, Germany) is an avant-garde musician, producer and artist. He started his career as a member of new wave group Palais Schaumburg. Shortly after the release of their debut album in 1983, he decided to go solo. Moving to London, he signs a contract with leading independent record label Mute Records. Since 2001 Hiller has devoted his time and effort to increasing awareness of African thought in the German speaking world.
