Modern Life Is War (from Marshalltown, Iowa) were one of the most popular bands in today's hardcore scene, formed in 2002. Alongside bands like American Nightmare they had successfully transcended genre boundaries to be admired and respected by a variety of fans. They were often noted for their passion, energy and impressive live shows. To date Modern Life Is War have released a self titled 7" EP on Lifeline Records, their 2003 debut album 'My Love, My Way' on Martyr Records, 2005's 'Witness' via Deathwish, and 2007's "Midnight In America" on Equal Vision Records.
