Jenny Toomey (Tsunami and her label Simple Machines) and Mark Robinson (Unrest, Air Miami and his label Teenbeat) started Grenadine in the fall of 1991. Rob, who was then Mark's roomate was recruited during one practice while he was upstairs making his dinner. Grenadine recorded with psychedelic master, Kramer, and His Name Is Alive's Warren DeFever (Warn Defever).
