Taking their name from a stray cat at the band's very first practice space in Amsterdam, Voicst are an indie/rock trio from Amsterdam. The band members are: singer/guitarist Tjeerd, bass player Sven and drummer Joppe. Support from influential Dutch media outlet 3Voor12 and The Dutch Pop Institute led the band to a slot at Lowlands, the huge Dutch festival, and also netted Voicst their first appearance at the New Yorks CMJ Music Conference.
