Saint Privat is the project begun in 2004 by Austrian electronic musician Klaus Waldeck (more popularly known by his stage name Waldeck) who combined his sounds with the voice of lead singer Valérie Sajdik (also known simply as Valerie) who was born near Vienna but grew up living in both Moscow and France and speaks German, French, English and Russian. The name of the project stems from the commune of Saint-Privat in southern France where Valerie lives.
