Madleen Kane is a singer born in Sweden in 1958 who had five Top 10 hits on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the early eighties. Her biggest success came in 1981 when You Can / Fire In My Heart spent three weeks at #1 (these two songs were produced by legendary Giorgio Moroder). You Can was also her only Billboard Hot 100 entry, peaking at #77. However, her best known hits in the United States are Rough Diamond and Forbidden Love.
