There are two bands called "Electric Sun" (1) Electric Sun was a psychedelic hard rock band of virtuoso guitarist Uli Jon Roth, formed when he departed from Scorpions in 1978. The musicians in the band changed after each album, Roth being the main man handling guitars and vocals. Discography:

Beyond the Astral Skies (1984) The first two albums are somewhat Jimi Hendrix-influenced rock with a slight 70's heavy metal sound at times. The third one, Beyond the Astral Skies widened the musical scale a lot, resulting an ambitious work of symphonic rock.
