Blackwatch is the artist name for progressive electronic music artist Michael Thomas. Michael Thomas has a background in classical music, but got into electronic music in the early 90's rising electronica culture in New York. His style of music was strongly influenced by groups such as Stone Roses, Primal Scream, and Depeche Mode. Blackwatch has produced several fairly successful tracks including Gentle Rain, Loveless and Northsky. Blackwatch's musical style usually features a strong bassline and has a clear emphasize on drums; most Blackwatch tracks also feature vocals.
