There are at least two bands with the name Homosapiens: 1.) Homosapiens is a post rock band from Japan, made-up of former PEPIN and Jully members. The group currently consists of it's four members: vocalist and guitarist ヨコヤマトヲル (Yokoyama Toworu), guitarist 杏太 (Ryouta), bassist 突希 (Tsukii), and drummer 藤本　佳宏 (Fujimoto Yushihiro). The ensemble formed in August of 2010 with only three members: トヲル, 突希, and 佳宏. Three months later, on November 14th, 2010, the band welcomed their new guitarist 杏太, who was a support member prior to his membership.
