There is more than one artist with the name Alu: 1) Alū, a female vocalist, is featured on the soundtrack to Clive Barker's "The Midnight Meat Train", National Public Radio, and Echoes Radio. 2) Alu, an early eighties electronic band from Germany that rose from the ashes of the krautrock group Sand. It is often associated with the Neue Deutsche Welle though its more hectic and paranoid sound is closer to synth-punk and early industrial groups.
